I met Carrie while on tour in Europe ten years ago in the 80's. In New York she starred in Black and Blue on Broadway along with Ruth Brown in the late 80's. She set the starge on fire! I was so proud and happy for my dear friend. She deserved to be on Broadway doing what she does best.
